Draw an image on an 8”x10”.You must draw it from a photograph. This drawing must have at least 5 colors in it and have a background.
Create a series of at least 5 sheets of oak tag. These sheets should be 12”x14”.Draw a one inch border on them.
Line up your drawing in the top right corner of the border (NOT THE SHEET).Transfer the image using a sheet of carbon paper.
Using an exacto knife, cut all of the areas that are a certain color. You must cut through the oak tag!
Continue cutting out a different color per sheet of oak tag.
Get three sheets of designated paper.Line the first stencil up with a corner of the paper.Using a spray paint, fill in the holes of the stencil.
Repeat this on the other two sheets of paper. Allow the paint to dry before moving on to the next stencil.
You will probably have to layer the colors- meaning that you will probably have an area of smaller color that is surrounded by a larger one.You will have to ink the large area first. After it dries, you will ink the smaller area on top of it.
